Last week the Northlake Police Department combined forces with Pecan Square to hold a Bike Safety Rodeo. We appreciate all the great kids who came out to learn how to stay safe while riding a bike! Also, a big shout out to the Northlake Police Department and Officers who helped make this event a success! Bike safety is always important, so make sure you wear a helmet, follow road signs, and use appropriate hand signals whenever you ride a bike.
A big thanks from the Northlake Police Department (NPD) to Wendy, Brook, and the other residents of Canyon Falls who were kind enough to provide a delicious Texas Roadhouse lunch and dinner for both shifts! The meal was provided as a thank you to the NPD for the work that officers have done to serve them and combat crime in their neighborhoods. The men and women of the Northlake Police Department want to thank them for their kindness and are honored to partner with them and other members of their community and Northlake in making Northlake neighborhoods safe.

Boil Water Notice Rescinded for Customers South of FM 1171 February 20, 2021 On February 16, 2021, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality required the Town of Northlake public water system 0610235, to issue a Boil Water Notice to inform customers, individuals, or employees that due to conditions which occurred recently in the public water system, the water from this public water system was required to be boiled prior to use for drinking water or human consumption purposes. The public water system has taken the necessary corrective actions to restore the quality of the water distributed by this public water system used for drinking water or human consumption purposes and has provided TCEQ with laboratory test results that indicate that the water no longer requires boiling prior to use as of February 20, 2021. If you have questions concerning this matter, you may contact Eric J. Tamayo at 940-465-1664 or the Public Works building at 1400 FM 407.
