At this point, we only have days to find a solution.   Summary: @theHouseOfGoodDeeds has been offered a massive donation of boxed housewares from a chain store going out of business: about 14,400 ft.² of warehouse inventory on pallets. They will ship everything to us at their expense. The catch is that we need to accept shipments immediately (roughly 500sf each truckload) so they can clear their warehouse, or they will send everything instead to landfill starting the week of Monday, December 7. We have some space lined up but not enough, and we ABSOLUTELY can’t allow this to happen. We see this as a great opportunity - after a terrible year - to get many of these items into the hands of local communities who can use them through our #GoodDeedsGiveaways and partner events. We’re desperately seeking any person or organization in the NYC area willing to donate some or all this space to HoGD so we can save these items, and possibly work with us to get some of them distributed.
