@samhallpike I039;ll be the first person to admit that the sport needs to be more competitive, particularly at the sharp end. The midfield has been great this season though, and it039;s so tight in the standings as well. I don039;t think the rule changes will initially have as big an impact as expected, I think it will take a couple of seasons. The problem is, even though there will be new rules with budget caps, the big 3 teams have been busy throwing money up front at things like infrastructure in to the project, where smaller outfits still need to stick to a budget. We039;ll see though ...
@markroseofficial Tbf mate I’ve never like him on and off the track, I won’t lie he is very talented, as much as I love f1 it’s so boring who comes 1st and 2nd, I love watching the mid field battles because it’s exciting, watching the same guy win every race and not actually have many battles with other drivers just isn’t entertaining for me. I just hope the new changes will make it more competitive to watch
@samhallpike Last I checked mate, making a set of intermediate tyres last 50 odd laps while dragging a car that039;s been horrifically off the pace all weekend from P6 to the top step of the podium is hardly luck. Other drivers spun off and made mistakes because the track was literally an ice rink today, and it039;s no surprise that experienced drivers like Hamilton, Perez and Vettel made it on to the podium. It039;s in conditions like that where the best drivers who know how to keep it on the road rise to the top. His winning margin at the end of the race was 30 seconds as well. He drove well where others struggled and called the strategy to perfection. Pure masterclass, but as always, people who don039;t like him or don039;t understand the sport properly will always try and find a reason to hate 🤷🏻♂️ Also, giving information on tyres and brakes to his engineer is what he039;s supposed to be doing, that and he039;s clearly running the race strategy 😂 Right on about the Ferraris though. Both drivers and team drove a great race considering the pace of the car 👌
@markroseofficial everyone else’s fuck ups got him podium. I can’t stand him mate, every race he cries his tyres and brakes are fucked but continues another 30 laps on the same set and says yeah tyres are good. He didn’t really have to fight for positions today, he isn’t entertaining to watch, the likes of max, Charles, lando, are entertaining to watch. I think Ferrari done unbelievable today given their shit car this season.
