"Love is not love which alters it when alteration finds, or bends with the remover to remove: O no! It is an ever fixed mark that looks on tempests and is never shaken; it is the star to every wandering bark whose worth’s unknown, although his height be taken. Love’s not Time’s fool, though rosy lips and cheeks within his bending sickle’s compass come: Love alters not with his brief hours and weeks, but bears it out, even to the edge of doom.”- Sonnet 116 Although we are married now but amongst the many memorable moments for me, it's when I and René met. Today happens to be our first meeting anniversary and you will never believe how I met my husband.❤️♥️(SWIPE FOR MORE PICTURES👉) Click the link on my bio to read.
Love. An indescribable feeling that brings people together and helps them overcome life’s many challenges. Depths of organic, raw, genuine, authentic emotions sprinkled with laughter, joy, and happiness. For there will be days of gloom, but to go through it with that one special person. Not behind or in front... but right next to that person. Sending Love to all of you from me and my dearest René. ❤️❤️ Happy Valentines day.
It's 2 days to Valentine ! Who is excited?!? ❤️❤️💝 The lockdown means we are unable to celebrate #valentine in the ways many are familiar with. Nonetheless, we shall do so with a different approach. We live in an age where consumerism is the norm - so one calls for Simplicity, for it is an inward reality that results in an outward life-style. Freedom from anxiety is characterised by three inner attitudes— If what we have we receive as a gift, and if what we have is to be cared for by God, and if what we have is available to others, then we will possess freedom from anxiety. Learning to hold everything lightly as a custodian, who will one day leave it all behind will create a sense to give away rather than hoard. Love is an expression and in its purest form is simple. Simplicity frees us from the tyranny of self, the tyranny of things and the tyranny of people. We would do well to follow the counsel of Thoreau: "Simplify, Simplify". So, what are your plans for Valentine’s Day? Is it #simple? Comment below 💝💝
There's something about the snow that makes me happy. I like when it snows, because of the cosy feeling it gives when you are indoors. It snowed few days back and we decided to go out to do some photo shoot with the snow (swipe to see more pictures). We had so much fun outdoors. You can read all about the fun things we did on my blog (link in the bio). Do you like to stay indoors when it snows or outdoors?

Our ‘Cup of Tea’ Sessions will encourage vulnerability and support without judgement. A place to recharge and gear up for the next month taking stock of what we have done right and what we can learn for the next month Starting from this month and consequently other months, we'll be talking about our monthly overview on our IG live. Make sure to keep a date with us for every last Sunday of the month. For now, enjoy the first series of the session. Let's take a sip, one at a time."
I appreciate plants a lot more now that I work from home. Indoor plants don't just look good, they enhance our well being. A few days into the New Year, we shopped around for some plants to enhance the vibe at home. I have realised that plants add life to a sterile space, giving privacy and caring for them can be incredibly therapeutic! It’s true when people say ‘Plants Make People Happy’. Do you have plants in your home? Swipe to see some of the beautiful plants we got.
My mood this week is to be absolutely stylish, because you know, style is a way to say who you are without having to speak.

From time to time, we all struggle to keep up with a healthy self-care routine. We are either overwhelmed with work, family or trying to make things work. And in between all of these, we forget how essential caring for ourselves is. It is even harder if you are a professional. You sometimes don't get to see the essence of self care. So here are five tips you can put in place for your self-care routine. Especially if like me, you juggle a lot of things. Click the link in my bio to read all about it. Going into the New Year is always a time to reflect and set goals. I like to include self-care in my new year’s goal settings as self care can be a variety of things I enjoy— reading been one of them. I started reading this book ‘ Celebration of Discipline’ by Richard Foster again. As I like to re-read books that impact me and this book is one of them. The discipline of mediation is one that I’ve cultivated. It’s a time to stay quiet and allow God to speak to you— as Christians, we know God is always speaking to us but can we honestly say we are tuned in? Most times, the distractions around us stop us from listening and hearing him. I like to implement some of the options suggested by Richard in his book. Staying calm and waiting to be directed sets us ready for the day— not going in without a purpose, but taking charge of my day having a clear purpose for it— this can be every part of your day including the mundane aspects of it too. Tell me, how do you mediate? Do you find meditation helpful?

WISHING YOU A PROSPEROUS 2021🎊🎊
New Year in a bit!! Growing up, my family didn't celebrate Christmas because of our beliefs. But over time, I have come to realise that there's no better time to be grateful and show gratitude than during the end of the year. Watch my vlog to see how we planned for Christmas, our food and how our Christmas went. As well as the nice gift our neighbor gave to us. Link in bio. My self-care ritual keeps me balanced. I don’t know about you, but I can only give what I have. Most times, when I feel dry and empty it’s a combination of things— my spiritual life is not balanced or my physical life is not in sync or my emotional life is running low. ⠀ ⠀ When I spend some time alone, I’m able to reconnect with these aspects of my being to understand which one or ones are low. ⠀ ⠀ How can I spend time alone, you may ask?! Don’t worry, these are conversations we will have on other days as we journey together. ⠀ ⠀ For today, it’s deep facial conditioning. How often do you do this? ⠀ ⠀ It’s important to cleanse your skin especially your face every month at the most. This allows for your pores to open and dead skin to be removed.⠀ ⠀ Leaving your face feeling tender, eliminating roughness — giving you a refreshed, rejuvenated skin and face. ⠀ ⠀ Most times, the complement I get is that my face is glowing after a deep conditioning— we all like a nice compliment every so often, right?! ⠀ ⠀ Make it a MUST in #2021 for a healthy glowing face! 🥳🎄

It's 2 years day since our engagement. I vividly still remember every detail of that day!💍 Exactly a day like this but of course without the lockdown . It was the perfect engagement. The most spectacular event in 2018 for me. 💑💑 The location, Paris, made it all the more worthwhile. What better place to get engaged than in the City of Love.❤ Read all the details on my blog. Christmas is always a time of the year to rest, join with family and friends ( except this year is different) to celebrate the year and reflect — looking back and looking forward has always been a great way for me to assess progress and set- backs. It’s completely fine if this year did not give us all we wanted but it certainly gave us what we NEED to survive. I know my ‘Need’ is more than my ‘Want’. We have health and life, we have everything we need — I am thankful.
My summer vacation trip to Exeter was nostalgic. Maybe because I have fond memories of my time at my alma mater -University of Exeter. Walking through those very roads again made it feel like I was going back in time but this time as an alumnus. All the flashback made the trip worth embarking on. Click the link in my bio to read everything I felt whilst visiting Exeter.

REVIEW OF THE DELUXE MAGIC CREAM SAMPLE DELUXE HOT LIPS 2 LIPSTICK - VIVA LA VERGARA RED LIPSTICK FROM CHARLOTTE TILBURY. Few days ago, I ordered some makeup items from @ctilburymakeup and it came with a free lipstick. I tried it on and I have to say it is very chic and easy to wear for every day or for going out. It applies very well and it easily covers the lip color ! It had a plum look but as shown, it's a bit of an orangey colour when applied. 💄 It is matte and I really like it. Thank you @ctilburymakeup
The weekend is a reminder that I should be a little selfish and take care of my mental, physical, emotional and spiritual health. I think that's why it is called weekend vibes. What does the weekend mean for you?
Christmas is a festive and celebratory time. It’s especially a time that nudges us to do more - it’s a time to rekindle the promises we have in our heart for humanity. - to push and stretch ourselves be to generous. 🎁💝 As we wrap our gifts and show love and appreciation to those around us. Lets also remember the essence of Christmas. It’s a time to celebrate the birth of Christ. Without Whom, there will be no hope of life after here.💝💝 What gifts plans do you have this period? It’s a good day to boss up and achieve greatness. So here I am, bringing you a dose of positive thought because like Dalai Lama said, ‘Just one small positive thought in the morning can change your whole day’. I hope this Monday motivation changes your day.
What's new on the blog? My trip to Bath put a lot of historical events into perspective. History has a different feeling when you are standing on the same spot the events took place. The City of Bath is one place that will surely make you feel this way. Read about all the fun things you can do if you go to Bath. Link in Bio.
Throw back to 2018 Decemeber.😄😄 The holiday season is supposed to be a happy time, but we recognize that there are also a lot of emotional stressors that can make us feel overwhelmed. 😥😥 As hard as this might be, don’t forget to sleep and take some time for yourself. Sleep deprivation can interfere with hunger and fullness cues which can have an impact on overall food intake. 🍲 Another important self-care strategy is to add purposeful movement into your day. Even if it isn’t structured exercise, activity can have a positive impact on your mental well-being. 🚶♀️ Oh, and I can’t forget to mention laughter, since it is “the season to be jolly!” Laughter goes a long way in the fight against stress.😊
It's a jolly season.🎅🎄 It's another new blank book of 31 days! It's has been a long year and for some of us, it looked like it wasn't going to end. But here we are, opportuned to see the last month of the year of 2020. Aren't we glad? Welcome to December everyone 🥳🎄🎅
It is the last day of the month of November. For my part, I am content and very thankful. Especially during this stressful year, it’s important to reflect on all the blessings you have. And with good reason; Gratitude is something that we should be able to express on any occasion-no matter how big or small.🙏🙏
Our trip to Bath was very eventful. We were privileged to see the bits and pieces of history that happened in Bath. And why Bath is such an amazing place to visit. Click the link in the bio to see places we visited and the history behind each of them. SUBSCRIBE| LIKE| SHARE| COMMENT

Ever since the pandemic, it feels like there is no difference between the workweek and the weekends. Nowadays, the weekend ends as soons as it begins. Do you think we now have a blurry delineation of a workweek and an endangered weekend?🤔🤔 What do you think?
For me, I have always had this personal mantra that; it is better to wait until you get the right thing, at the right time and in the right place. Than to race for the wrong thing, at the wrong time and in the wrong place, for it yields nothing but regrets. TIP: To help you wait for things, try to remember the words of David G. Allen, "Patience is the calm acceptance that things can happen in a different order than the one you have in your mind". Have a lovely weekend everyone.🤗😁
It's Wednesday! Half way to the weekend😁😁 From today, make sure you have nourish to flourish 🤗 A healthy outside starts from the inside😊 Your health is an investment, not an expense. Keep your friends close 👯 and your brunch closer😋🍝 Be stubborn about your goals, but flexible about your methods💁 Live, don't survive.
Mondays are another oppotunity to never give in. Never give up. Be relentless. Be unstoppable. Be so hungry that it keeps you awake. You can accomplish anything. This is another opportunity to make a difference. You can conquer anything once you change your perspective. Let's go conquer!!
💜 Throwback to when the world was free and we didn't have to second guess everything from going out, to hugging our loved-ones, to delaying travel. 💜 The world is in a bit of a weird place right now, and it's affecting our health, communities, livelihood and so much more. It's hard to live in times of uncertainty, yet it is forcing all of us to slow down. 💜 Maybe we can use this time of trouble to focus on what is truly important; to be present, to be calm, to be kind to others and to the planet. 💜 I send my love out to everyone. And remember; keep your hands clean, your head cool and your heart open.
