This 9 days of Navratri I thought would be a real challenge for me to bring in the same flavor we enjoy with onions n garlic to our daily cuisines but I am really enjoying making NO ONION NO GARLIC recipes. Reason behind is you do not have to chop onions or peel garlic. I think that's the most tedious part which gets skipped😂😂 plus there's no much difference to the taste😍😍. 
It equally tastes the same 
No wonder I took just 30 mins to pull off this recipe 🤪

Ingredients:
• Potatoes 8-10 small size.
• Water to cook the potatoes
• Mustard oil 1 tbsp
• Kashmiri red chili powder 1 tbsp
• Ginger paste 1/2 tbsp
• Coriander powder 1 tbsp
• Jeera powder 1 tsp
• Garam masala 1 tsp
• Amchur powder 1 tsp
• Black salt 1 tsp
• Turmeric powder 1 tsp
• Kasuri methi 1 tsp
• Salt to taste

Holige/Puran Poli for Asthami 🙏✨🏵️

As today we celebrate the victory of Goddess Durga over  the evil buffalo demon, Mahishasura so to celebrate Asthami I tried making for the first time Holige as we call in Tulu also known as Puran Poli to everyone.To my surprise it turned out so well with no cracks and no Puran coming out. So happy when my sweet dish comes out so well. Guess what my mum said after seeing this first attempt of Puran Poli that she's really proud of me as my grandmother was the expert in making these and I totally nailed it. This makes me really happy.

For dough
• 1 cup All purpose flour 
• 1/4 tsp turmeric powder 
• Pinch of Salt 
• Water for kneading 
• 3-4 tbsp oil for kneading

For Puran/filling
• 1 cup chana dal (without soaking)
• 3 cups water for boiling
• 1 1/2 cup Jaggery
• 1 tbsp cardamom powder

Methi Malai Mutter Paneer a perfect cuisine filled with ultimate richness..

I have used cashews and hung curd to make NO ONION NO GARLIC base for this curry. All these ingredients combined, make the base really creamy, rich, luscious and nutritious as well.
Usually I tend to prepare orange gravies and not opt for green or white ones but when I made this I net that it is soo damn good. I never used to make recipes without onion and garlic but Navratri made me do this and trust me you wont feel it that there were no onions in it .

• 2 cups of Methi chopped
• 1 cup of green peas
•  250 gms cottage cheese/ Paneer
• 10-12 soaked cashews
• 3-4 green chillies
• 1 inch of ginger 
• 2 tbsp of ghee 
• 1 tbsp cumin seeds 
• 1 bay leaf 
• 1 tbsp Red chilli powder 
• 1 tbsp coriander powder
• 1/4 tbsp turmeric powder 
• 1/4 tbsp garam masala powder 
• Salt to taste

 • 2 cups of milk 
• 1/4 cup hung curd
• 1/4 cup fresh cream

🌿☘🌴🌳Green Gram Dhokla 🌳🍀☘🌿
Is it just me or someone else also felt that it looks like green Brownies?!?! 🤣🙈

This is the most quickest Dhokla's you can make with less ingredients too. Also this is really healthy plus gluten free.My personal favorite is Khaman dhokla anytime but when I had this for the first time when my colleague bought it and from that time I just became fan of this . Quick NO ONION NO GARLIC RECIPE .
Try them out if you love idlis you will definitely like the taste of this one too.

Navaratri celebration looks like this 😍😋
□■GRANOLA TART With SITAPHAL RABDI■□

Day 2 of Navratri filled with all the sweetness and richness of healthy granola and oats crust coated with honey and the filling of Sitaphal ( custard apple) Rabdi .The indulgence of rabdi into the tart crust made the whole dish so beautiful like when I baked the crust first ahaaa the fragrance across the hall just felt like being in a bakery.  So devine.  The chilled Rabdi which was on it was the hero element of the recipe. 
I hope you try them out and let me know how does it feels to have this amazing piece of goodness 🥰
Ingredients
□For tart
Granola (any variety) : 1 1/4 cup ( used @kelloggsindia
Oats (instant ) : 1/2 cup (used @bagrrys
Honey  syrup: 3/4 cup or more
Butter : 2 tbsp (at room temperature)

Milk : 1.5 litre
Almonds and pistachios (slivers) : a handful

Since the festive occassion has started and every year during Navratri we prepare NO ONION NO GARLIC delicacies since my mother does the 9 days fasting and so this year I thought of making all the 9 days something special for her .Khandvi is the most relished dish it is so soft that it literally melts in the mouth also known spiced and seasoned  flour rolls. A favorite snack from the Gujarati cuisine. This is my first attempt to make khandvi and it turned out to be the best like literally the rolls came so perfectly.

Well well here I gave Maggi a twist with some Chinese flavour and made a bhel out of it . Ahaaaaa and I call it Maggi bhel . Trust me if you love spicy food plus which is really simple and quick enough you must not miss on this recipe.
All you gotta do is.......
🔥| Roast some Maggi in a pan until brown 
🔥| Chop capsicum, cabbage and carrot 
🔥| In a bowl, mix the roasted Maggi,veggies, red chilli sauce as per your choice of spiciness, tomato ketchup, chings schezwan sauce 1 packet and Maggi masala 
🔥| Mix everything well 
There you go...Straight dive into it and you will definitely love this as I loved it

How about some Rose milk with some Sabja/basil seeds to beat the Mumbai temperature???

As we are going through a tremendous weather change in Mumbai it is necessary to maintain our body temperature and what else is better than having this combination . Sabja seeds with ice cold milk and some rose syrup added to it . This is the most relished milk drink at my place . We always have a rose syrup stocked up in the fridge.
And each time I have this it just make me nostalgic as we always had the yummy rose falooda each time we went to restaurants or ordered from it.

Lastly just give it a stir and sip it .I didn't stir it in the frame as I loved the layers floating and that's when I thought of clicking it.🤩❣️🌹

Chocolate filled cookies by my favourite Baker @shivesh17 .😍

This was my first attempt in making a batch of cookies and that to without oven . So how it all started . The dough was all perfect and the ganache was top notch . Then when I placed my first batch of 4 cookies I burnt it from the base but you know still what made me happy is that the top portion was so tasty and the texture too was amazing. So I placed the next batch which was undercooked 🤣I mean it turned into pancake types texture. Finally I was left with just 3 cookies and with gathering all the confidence I finally came out with perfect cookies . I will share the burnt batches picture on my stories with some of my experience and the mistake which I did.

Sundays with some°°Chicken Patiala°°

This consists of richness of cashew with veggies like methi leaves , capsicum and onion unlike the other recipe. This has a different nutty flavour which is so good in taste that you can't stop eating it untill you are more than full🤣🙈
Talking about the shot this time I tried taking a monochromatic shot with all the props in white so that the main dish that is the chicken gravy is the showstopper.

Sundays with some°°Chicken Patiala°° . This consists of richness of cashew with veggies like methi leaves , capsicum and onion unlike the other recipe. This has a different nutty flavour which is so good in taste that you can't stop eating it untill you are more than full🤣🙈 Talking about the shot this time I tried taking a monochromatic shot with all the props in white so that the main dish that is the chicken gravy is the showstopper. .
